Who am I ? Answer : My name is Michael Nance . I’m born and raised in Statesville NC. I currently reside in Savannah Georgia working as a chef. I started. Skating because my cousin showed me the movie grind and the video game Tony Hawks underground. That’s when he sold me his blind board, and It eventually got stolen. Why do I rep and skate Belligerent? Answer : Because Austin is my brother for-real . He is the reason why Charlotte became a second home for me. I went to this man’s wedding in Las Vegas, I went on a two week f@%king skate tour up the east coast with this foo, and had way too many great times in Charlotte. Now it’s time to take on the world . 616 bby! What motivates me? Just wanting a better life for my family, friends, and myself . By continuing to skate, create, learn, grow and live life to the fullest with no f@%ks given . B-boys for life .

Skating for 15 years!
Skating to me is more than just a sport or a hobby. It's a way of life and to some of us, it's all we have. Skateboarding has saved my life more times than i could imagine and I'll always be grateful for that. The homies I've met along the way and all the experiences I've had threw Skating will never be matched!
Being a part of Belligerent was definitely unexpected, Austin and I met at the Myrtle skatepark in 2024 during the Belligerent East Coast tour and our vibes just clicked! Being a part of Belligerent had been amazing and the future is gonna be lit!
What makes me tick, is that I can't ever give up! I hate being a failure. So I will keep going till I physically can't go anymore! Skate or die!!!!

Skateboarding has always been an escape from the mundane day to day bullsh@t that we all face daily. Ever since my first time on a board, I knew I would be skating until my legs fall off. I’m in my own world when I’m on my board and nothing else matters in that moment except my foot placement and trying not to get smoked by the rail I’m skating. As much of an individual sport that skateboarding is, the community that skateboarding provides is nothing that I’ve found in “normal” team sports. There’s no feeling like battling to land a trick and then finally landing it and hearing the homies get hype as all hell. Without skateboarding and the family I’ve found within it, life wouldn’t be awesome as f@%k. Forever. I’m grateful to have found skateboarding and being a belligerent boy till death!

Skating For 14 years!
Skateboarding has been my favorite thing to do these last 14 years. I love the creativity and freedom to express yourself through the different types of tricks you can learn. Everyone has a different style, no two skaters are alike, so there’s a lot of possibilities to progress. Being a part of Belligerent Team, means a lot to me because it motivates me to continue to push myself to become a better skater and appreciate skateboarding even more. What makes me tick, is people who give up on skateboarding too easily, it takes a lot of work to get better and be where you want to be not all of us are gifted. So my advice is to be patient and have fun with it. Skateboarding has saved my life in many ways, I’m grateful that I stuck with it for so long.
